ASSISTANT PROFESSOR & LEAP PI

About me

I am a low-temperature experimentalist and interested in surface process geochemistry of planetary bodies. I study the formation, evolution, and destruction of geological materials at planetary surface and shallow subsurface conditions.

I received my Integrated B.Sc. and M.Sc. Degree in Applied Geology in 2015 from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur in India. I have worked with the Indian Space Agency (ISRO). I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Earth & Planetary Sciences at Washington University in Saint Louis in 2021 and was then a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Geosciences at Stony Brook University.

I am an aqueous geochemist and conduct laboratory experiments and computer simulations to explore and investigate the complex chemistry and geology of planets. If you seek to learn more about my recent works
